Caroline has recruited hundreds of key executives within both the public and private sectors, (for-profit and non- profit), from early stage, start-up companies to large, complex, global corporations.

Caroline began her executive search career with Carmichael Birrell & Co. in 1991. She was appointed Vice President and Partner with the firm in 1995, and assumed an equity stake in 2008, when Carmichael Birrell Loberto was launched. Throughout her tenure with the organization, she developed strong client partnerships in a wide range of industries and sectors, establishing some of the firms’ most successful and enduring client relationships.

Her strong leadership and dedication to clients has played a significant role in establishing the firm as one of the leading boutique executive search firms in Canada.

Caroline’s experience runs deep and her exposures are broad. She has undertaken projects in both Canada and the United States and her practice has crossed multiple industry sectors, with some concentration in financial services, real estate, media and entertainment, healthcare and consumer products. Mirroring the generalist orientation of the firm, Caroline has worked in most functional areas.

Prior to joining Carmichael Birrell & Co., Caroline spent seven years with an international professional service firm where she held leadership positions in business development and human resources.

Personal interests for Caroline include: Songwriting, Musical Performance, Guitar, Composition and Recording, Painting, Wellness, Travel and Fitness.  Caroline resides north of the city with her husband and two sons.
